Principal's Message

Parents, Guardians, and Community Members:
On behalf of the faculty and staff of Pleasant Gardens Elementary, we are able to announce that PG Elementary is no longer designated a low performing school.  We learned recently that our school community earned a C rating on the State Report Card Rating System. We also exceeded growth expectations. This distinction is a true testament to our faculty and staff, students, parents, and school community.
It is my privilege to work at PG everyday and be the principal of this great school! I have been a school administrator for many years, and we have the most respectful and sweet students I have had the pleasure to ever work with. They are eager and bright learners! I am extremely proud of the staff at PG. They are truly an exceptional bunch of people who are dedicated to school improvement daily, and love and care deeply about students.  They took the proverbial "bull by the horn" last school year to increase test scores.  They go above and beyond for the students of PG daily.
Again, it is my privilege to be the principal at PG.  We are excited to share this great news with you. We are a school on the move! We look forward to what awaits in the future for PG Elementary School, for we anticipate great things continuing to happen. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

School Improvement Meetings

The Pleasant Gardens School Improvement Team plans to meet on the first Monday of each month during the school year. Meetings are held at 3PM.

New Attendance Policy

Please be aware of a new MCS Attendance Policy. Students must be present 75% of the day to be counted as present. They will need to arrive by 9:30 and stay the rest of the day or not leave earlier than 1:15.
