Principal's Message

Dear Parents/Guardians:

We want to let you know some of the great things happening at PGE this year. Our school has its first mural based on the story, The Little Engine that Could. The mural sends a daily message to our students that if you think you can do something you can. Be persistent and persevere. It is located on the K-2 hallway. We are also starting a Bucket Filling Program that focuses on being kind to others. Our students will have the opportunity to write and receive kind messages sent to and from their peers and from the staff. They will simply drop a special kind note into a specially created Chinese take-out box when they want to write a special message to a peer or a staff member.

Our students and teachers are doing a fabulous job teaching the standards in an engaging and fun manner. We are focused on improving our test scores, and making our test scores reflect the daily, outstanding learning that takes place at PGE.

Lastly, a special thanks goes out to our PTA. They recently purchased new technology for the students at PG. Bravo!

Mark Robertson, Principal
